القصر عباسي المقام على ضفاف دجلة يعود تاريخ بنائه إلى الخليفة الناصر لدين الله، الذي كان يستخدم القصر استخدامات مختلفة، منها ثقافية وأدبية والدليل على هذا، وجود المكتبة العظيمة والقاعات الدراسية والتدوين، إضافة إلى جلسات الترفيه التي كان الخليفة يقيمها برفقة حاشيته وجلاسه. وفي هذه البناية غرف صغيرة ، تجاوز عددها أربعين غرفة، ما عدا القاعات الكبرى الخمس والمرافق الأخرى.
The Abbasid palace built on the banks of the Tigris dates back to the Khalifa Al-Nasir Li Din Allah, who used the palace for various uses, including cultural and literary, and the evidence for this is the presence of the great library, classrooms and blogging, in addition to the entertainment sessions that the Khalifa used to hold with his entourage and his sitting. In this building there are small rooms, the number of which exceeded forty, except for the five large halls and other facilities.
